I figured we talk about it enough in IRC that we should have a thread about it, too.
So I shall start by saying that I finally dinged 60 tonight. All I basically have left to do now is run my guild and pimp myself out in Ironforge to get parties, so I figured I should at least
look the part.
Also, can't wait for the
grand druid tree reworking that will get rid of all the problems balance and feral had. I probably won't stop speccing resoration because I love healing, but the new 30pt abilities for the other two trees are quite awesome. Moonkin form is so much better than hurricane, and hurricane will now be a level 40 ranged AE spell, so anyone can use it. It's about frigging time. We're the only casters that couldn't AE. Now druids who spec balance will be much more useful in party.
Aha. And here are the
1.8 patch notes. WHEE! It looks like they put in
four new dragons for me to accidentlally stumble upon when I am out wandering around. At least they drop the best feral druid mace I have ever seen, so if I manage to solo one (riiiight) I'll uh....Hell, for that thing I'd RESPEC.
I'm glad the Blizzard is trying to make the trees more balanced so that there is no longer a "best way" to spec for each class. I have a warrior and a warlock, but they were both too low when they got redone for me to really know how effective the changes were. But, since most of my friends are hunters, I know that the last reworking for them turned out very, very well. They keep rejoicing that they are now more viable in PVP because their pets are no longer too weak to ignore.
