Who else has been watching this awesome series? Anyone read the book? I've seen up to ep 11 and it feels like we're reaching the ending in another episode or two.

show some love for my favourite 'cop' drama.

I've ordered the book, watched the last episode(number 12 its online now) and am going to watch it over and over till I feel happy again.

I'm also buying the second book and am waiting patiently for season two.

Yuki recommended it before he left to go home a few months ago. Chris downloaded an episode of it, and thought it was a bit wierd for his tastes. I know Chris has issues with women and mutilation. I was busy playing Crystal Chronicles, so I can't say one way or another.

Finished the season, finished the book (which ends extremely different to the tv series), and not so eagerly awaiting the second season. Because motherfuck, a whole goddamned year? Fuck. Also,

I watched it. Loved it. Didnt know there was a book.
awesome ending. It took what I had predicted and then went apeshit with it.

Cannot wait for season 2.
Luckily 24 is starting up soon and will keep me occupied for a while.

Around episode three I started to think that the Ice Truck killer was his sister, trying to show him that she was just as good at what Harry taught him as he was without any of the help he'd got growing up.
Would have been a great twist.

The one with lots of blood and set in Miami.

And serial killers who chop hookers up into parts and leave them in swimming pools.

I've seen up to episode 5. We have ritual in our house where we wait for some of our friends to come over, then we watch a television series we've downloaded, by playing it on our projector in our nice little setup downstairs. There is usually snacks and some drinking and nonstop bad jokes and puns.

I shouldn't have watched episode 5 though, seeing as how everyone else only saw up to episode 4. But, you see, I downloaded the 8.2 gig higher quality version of season 1 and I was just comparing the quality of the episodes. In retrospect, I should have only compared episodes I had previously watched, perhaps side by side, in order for it to be a true comparison... but I couldn't stop. I let my friends know that I cheated on them. They started to tear up and get emotional and asked me "why?". I didn't really have an acceptable answer. I just couldn't help myself.

It's fairly a good show so far. Sure the acting isn't the greatest, but it is passable, and the characters and humor keep bringing me back for more.

By any chance, does anyone have any experience with transfering divx/xvid encoded videos over to a playable dvd format? I plan on looking into it, but if someone knows of a program that makes the whole process rather automated or easy I'd like to hear about it.
*edit* I'm trying out the newest version of nero. I'll see how that works.

I love the series. The intro where he makes breakfast is kinda really creepy. Also, it's based in the place where I live, so I can recognizes places.

Much Love

Also if you've read the second book, you haven't seen the second season. It's a new storyline.

Dexter is awesome.
Season two will be better if they don't follow the books, the best bits of Season one were the original parts, the first book was good, but the second one wasn't as good I felt. Although Dexter's proposal was brilliant.

Still can't wait for the next season.

Actor.

... And sorry, Actor, but that was the most DOWNS thing I have ever heard you utter. And you say downs things like the Punisher is better than Wolverine all the time!

The only reason the book 2 would not work as season 2 is because MY GOD THOSE PEOPLE ARE FUCKED UP IN THE MOST HORRIBLE WAYS. I seriously cannot think of a way to put what happens on tv without making me vomit lots.
