Some complaints have been heard about the lack of moderating. So this thread has been created. You get to debate the need for moderators.

If you wish to nominate someone for moderatorhood, feel free. So far Sarevock has volunteered to take up some slack.

If you wish to suggest anything along the lines of limited-moderators, or global moderators, do it here, too.

For a board this size, the fact that only one topic (that I know of) has been locked is very commendable, I think most of the regs do a very good job of self-moderating this forum.

Partially because we have no standards to adhere to ;)

We tend to stay (relatively speaking) well behaved anyways, and the initiations probably help somewhat.

Never heard of it, however I did find another one in a short search. So I guess that makes three.

A mod to check if LINKS are school/work safe? Are you dumb or something? Half the avatars in this place aren't school/work safe, as I discovered in computer class today.

I must admit i had been thinking about the lack of a regular modding but i agree with OE, the self modding here is really good, and Abunai!, considering the clientel of this board, anyone who checks it at college where prying eyes are deserves whatever they get.

Anyome else remember Creed? Now he was a troll... Whatever happened to the comic he created?

Creed basically gave up on the internet, deleted every link to his old ID and probably started a new one somewhere.
He also asked Kyhm to delete all threads which mentioned him, thats why you won't find many.

And that comic was done by his brother not Creed, he just did some editing I think.

I think we should leave it at that.

Also, I was thinking a while back that Bishou would have been a good moderator in the RolePlay area, but he's been MIA for a while now sadly.

Yeah, the self mod-ing here is very good. The mod's don't have much of a job to do, and if something really needs to be done, we can always ask Kyhm. I think the last time I remember a mod interceeding was Enoron's annoying AV. The two people that seem to be in favour of more Mod's are the two people I would think Mod's would interfeer with the most. This isn't really a worksafe board, back in the day, we had 'topless av theme week'. With so little moding that needs to be done, I would say we need less instead of more. Although there is nothing wrong with the current number, as most of them don't exercise their power. On a side note, give me mod power, and I would close down the word association boards. Fear me.
