Happiness is watching Kill Bill with +3h boyfriend, and listening to the teeny-boppers bitch about the blood afterwards. :D

anyway, back OT, happiness is walking out of your final uni exam at 2:00 in the afternoon and driving to your best friends house where you proceed to get drunk as quickly as possible and forget everything that you learnt that year ...

There is a slite change on my case: After the final exams, we all go and make a campfire out of our notebooks. After the resident firemen put out the flames (10 foot, sometimes) we all drink 'till morning light.

Happiness is joking with one's roomate about how if either one of you ever happens to end up as president of the US, you will make an address to the nation and calmly recite the lyrics to Baby Got Back.

Ladies and Gentlemen of America...

I like, big butts.

I cannot lie.

You other brothers,

Cannot deny...

Whee, because I'm bored, I thought I'd type up a semi-more serious reply to this thread's question.

To me, happiness is accomplishing what you set out to do, being satisfied with your life, having a purpose and meaning to your life, and having family and friends who care about you. And of course, having enough firepower to protect those things if need be.
What the thread creator said about adapting is sorta true as well, because after about week four or five of basic, I started having a great time with it, the occasional smokings notwithstanding.

Happyness for me was kicking arse and winning at a 40k tournament on sunday, espcially so because I was wiped out in my first game!

Happiness is losing a 40k game technically but dragging my opponent's entire HQ section kicking and screaming back to Commorragh. :D

Happiness for me is being the ultimate Magic the Gathering player at my school, despite not playing the game any more.

"True Happiness" is really nothing more than the ability to adapt and to cope with life.

Much like God on Earth, utopia, etc etc. -- all ideals which make us continue on with our existance.
