Sigh. Because it's a lot of hassle just for the off chance some guy you meet doesn't like fuzzy arms.

So... Since we've been discussing hairy womens, what are people's opinions on facial and bodyhair on men then?

To slightly modify Kali's questions back on page one...
Quote:
Are beards/moustaches/stubble/facial hair on men unattractive?
Is bodyhair on men unattractive?
Are male pubes unattractive?
Is arm pit hair unattractive?

3) no, but they need to be kept under control. i remember back in boot camp i saw this girl with hair to her knees. i always think back to it when i feel bad about my own hairyness >.>

As in, the hairs were so long they hung down to her knees? that's insane. is that even possible?

Waxing hurts and shaving...I don't think I've figured out how to do it right yet. Probably using an exacto-knife in times of razor famine doesn't help.

Oooh, Shoons, I was always so hairy and got flack, I just got stubborn, and thought fuck it. When the young men'd say "i've got hairier arms", I'd just whip out my ankles and they'd all recoil amd it was great. I was just starting to get very comfortable with myself (and hanging around with polite people), when my own mother mentioned it once, I was completely devestated. Didn't wear shorts for three years. My mom...geeze.

Vass:
1. When they're ill-kept. That is the one part of the body that you have to share with everyone, and when you have puke in your whiskers, it's kind of scary. I think people should look clean, no matter how they grow your hair. As far as sexual attraction goes, it seems really hard to make out with a guy who will either fuck up your face with his abrasive stubble, or find the guy's mouth with a full beard. Then you wonder why he has to hide his mouth in the first place. Overall, though, the beard is very practical for creating the appearance of a jaw line, covering horrible scars, etc. I don't have any horrible scars, and I don't like to fuck up people's faces, so I shave.
2.Bodyhair on men it not unattractive, and I rather like it. What is unattractive is pimples and sweat. If you have to omit the hair to take care of the others, aaaaaalllll right, I guess.
3.Anythingn in the male crotch area is unattractive. Beyond that, pubes are necessary, not only to indicate where that region begins, but also to demonstrate that the man in question is not overly obsessed with his own wang.
4. No, Armpit hair is not attractive, but it's very very difficult to shave. There's little fleshy bits and creases that you can never get smooth, and then the truncated hair pokes you when you put your arm down. My grandmother warned me specifically not to shave my pits and I take her advice. After all, her other advice was very useful. Wear sleeves. Everybody wear sleeves.

I can't shave my face to a degree that the hair goes away at all. I shave in the morning(five AM) and I'm back with a five o'clock shadow by about midday and stubble by afternoon and need a re-shave by night time if I want to keep my job.
And even when I shave so close that I end up bleeding all over the place I still have very visible hair growth that nothing short of a forest fire can get rid of. How is that even possible? I've cut myself, that means the blade is lower than the skin that the hair is on, yet the hair remains.

Girls, don't kiss me on the lips, you'll end up with a rash.
That didn't come out right, did it?

Actor.

1) my opinion on this varies. basically i preffer no hair at all on pretty faces but this week i find stubble to be very MOE (i just watched that japanorama otaku special >>). beards in general are kinda bleh but dont bother me if theyre not too long. goatees are nice. mostaches are silly. i think that covers it o.o
2) depends on the amount, really.
3) as i mentioned before some areas are uglier when shaved. pubes, however, should be trimmed as necessary.
4) no, though i have no problem with shaved pits as well (i used to hate armpit hair too  )

I don't think my reply was read correctly. I was identifying how weird it is to spend way more time doing makeup every single day and then skip an easy arm shave now and then, which barely takes any time at all.

Generally, no makeup with shaven arms is better than makeup with shaven arms. Especially since makeup is an expensive hassle and pure vanity, whereas shaven arms keep you cooler, with less friction, and are cheap to do. Not really any specifics or running or smearing either, eh?

I understood it. Point is, a lot of guys probably don't like fuzzy arms. Thing is, makeup seems like a lot more of a hassle. Who wears makeup for purposes other than attracting people? Makeup certainly doesn't feel good, it's total vanity.

You're still missing the point. Which is that I should have to do NEITHER in order to attract a guy. If he doesn't like me the way I like me and find that attractive there's something very wrong with the dynamic of the relationship.

I'd also like to point out that some people like to wear make up for a variety of reasons other than VANITY or ATTRACTION and I suggest you think about what those might be before you continue to dig your rather large internet hole there.

Point is:
Thats more trouble than you even realize on the off chance that you will meet a guy who hates your body in its natural state.

Shaving and hair removal products are just as expensive as makeup, especially if you are buying ladies products.

Makeup is easier than shaving because you can take makeup off and still look liek a regular person, but if you stop shaving you have a long period of stubble announcing that you have done something to yourself. Makeup does not scarpe or cut.

Makeup can also be about feeling adult, lookin' fancy, or putting on airs. Makeup does not always not feel good. Not everyone with makeup is vain, nor want to attract every person they meet. Nice clothes, too, are not always about attracting people.

Question for you now, ridiculous person: have you ever worn makeup correctly, have you ever shaved your arms or legs, and do you do things that might be vain but are not intended to attract? Also, are you still talking about that one rainbow colored girl specifically?

So I have a question. What do you think of hair on the feet?

The same thing I think about hair anywhere else. Which so far I think I have made abundantly clear. As has everyone else.

Is this something your asking because you're worried about acceptance of your own hairy feet?

At first no, but then yes. But it started out as I thought about hair on feet after reading the first couple posts in the thread. So yes I have been fearing rejection of my hobbit like foothair for what a month(how long has this thread been up?). And yeah you did kind of make it extremely clear on where you stand with body hair.

Edit: fixed for truth

I don't think hairy feet are going to be a deal breaker for anyone you wouldn't want it broken with.

I loooove hairy feet.
Love.
Looove it.

When I hear someone shaves their feet, I get physicaly disgusted, more than about any other wierd hygiene habit. "it's your feet! leave those alone! Are you some kind of obsessive-compulsive masochist that you hate yourself enough to shave your fucking feet?"
I realize this is a bit unreasonable, but it really does scare me that someone would shave thier feet or toes.

1)No, Personally, I only think swimmers should shave their arms-drag reasons, etc
2)Yes.
3)Not always, but it's nice to have it trimmed, and for god's sake clean. <_<
4)Yes, god yes.

Personally, I shave everything except my arms, because, well, I dislike the look of the hair. My arm hair's blonde, so, no reason to shave that. And I'm a woman, in case you were wondering. ^__^

I also think men should shave. Because looking like you have Don King in a headlock is disgusting. T_T
