Rising from his knelt position, Ezelek brushed out the wrinkles in the leather-trenchcoat. Even though Blue had informed him not to trivilate with the formalities, he still kept his head bowed out of respect... After all, both Blue and Cecily had been ruling a nation since before he was born, and would likely to do so until longer after his death, even in he lived until a ripe-old age.
"It has been only a year, M'lady..." He spoke up, his voice soft and demure, full of respect and awe. "Since I became ruler of Elcadia, but sometimes, it does seem like a life-time... The people were so abused by the former ruler, and they fear change of any sort, which is making it extremely difficult for me to make things better... Not to mention that the Council seems to enjoy blocking any decision I make that will not directly benefit them. Sometimes, I wonder if I was right in my decision... To rebel, and execute the old Dictator for his crimes... But I must believe I did the right thing. The people were suffering, even if they all did not see it..." He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I wish that had no insisted I take a position up as a ruler, though..."
Giving a start, he balked slightly, bowing his head again, some of his dark locks falling across his jade-azure eyes. "Forgive me, My Lady, My Lord... I should not have weighed my own troubles on your already-burdened shoulders. Just dismiss my ramblings of those of a over-worked young fool."
He smiled, a tight-lipped smile of sharing. "And, whilst, Dear Queen, this is the first time you have met me... I have seen you before, when I was but a child. You were adressing your people... And I must say, since it was the first time I had ever seen a fairy, I became somewhat besmitten with you." He gave a lopsided grin at that. "I would be very intrested in entering any talks about relationships between our two nations... Especially, since the Council is not here to block my decisions."
