*wanders over to Chris and Van*

I noticed you were one of the few .. shall we say "unaccompanied" people here.
Now we can't have a premire member unaccompanied can we?

*Coughs*

eh hem

Barkeep? think you could whip us up a terminal?

*a PDP-11/24a appears next to the three of them*

This is not what I had in mind! Something a little more modern please

*the PDP is replaced by a WYSE 80*
*Briareos smacks his hand against his head*

Some help here?

*SD Briareos disappears for a second and re-appears with a large thin shiny rectangle, which he hands to Bri*

SD Bri: Powerbook Ti do ya?
Sure

Ok, now Chris all you have to do is log onto your profiles page and scroll down to where you see avatar. Enter in the URL of the image and save your profile. Thats it.

SD Bri: Chris you can use http://flashpages.prodigy.net/hungus/avatar-chris.gif
till you find one if you want.

Hello... BOY,

I KNOW!
Check the internet!
I've heard they got all kinds of stuff there.
(Mostly p0rn)

A little hint. Don't make your avatars to big! They will get disorted.
I used 60x60px on mine.

You can downlod it and then paste and resize
your pic over mine. If you like....

Ahh... I love Canada.

Thanks Van.

Van: No prob Bob.

/Chris takes another drink and turns to the n00b

Bad n00b, not until your older.

/Chris slaps markt18's hand

He he, jk, there's no drinkin age in this forum as far as I know so it's up to Van.

[OOC]I'm heading up to Canada on the 19th! You can bet you sweet a$$ that I'll be drinking some of that Kokanee up there baby. Image[/OOC]

"Excellent..." Van grins slyly and rubs her hands together. Kneel before the incredible power controling the alcohol supply.

Let's see, I think I'll judge the drinking age somewhat in the manner that I judge n00bs... knowledge rather than post count, so maturity rather than age.

"Here ya go markt." Van pulls a fresh b33r mug out of hammerspace, gives it to markt18 and gestures to the keg.

"Just don't get all drunk and start hitting on me... that'll force me to revoke your privileges!" Van says jokingly.

* Mark takes the mug from Van. *

"Thanks. Oh, and in the future, just refer to me as Mark. The origin of this 'markt18' moniker is kind of a long story.. well, no, not really."

"Mmm.. Kokanee Gold. One of the only good things to come out of this barren wasteland we call southwestern Canada. Thanks, Van."

*gets up, wanders over to the fridge, grabs a Jones Green Apple, and wanders back to his recliner.* You can beat me, you can kick me, you can stab me in the ribs with an icepick. Just don't bore me. So, who wants to entertain me? Its always beneficial to stay on Karma's good side. =D

Hey! I happen to live in a preticularily beautiful part of said "barren wasteland"... Them there fightin' words

Though, I can't argue for or against Kokanee, as:
a) I don't drink, and,
b) More importantly: I'm too young to (pah!)

Gee *looks out the window* "barren" isn't the word I'd use.

Damp, watery, humid, wet, dank, soaking wet, saturated, soggy, sodden, muddy, watery, aquatic, hydrous, drenched, those are the words that come to mind...

Anybody else need to use the can?

Hmm.. certainly the word I'd use to describe southern Alberta. It is wet and soggy right now, but that's precisely why it's barren. It snowed two weeks ago, and it's now reduced to slush. In mid-December.

Thank you Briareos.

Your deed will not go unrewarded.

/Chris opens a rift and produces a piece of paper

This, is a free ticket for one favor.

That does not include sexual favors due to the fact that you are not female.

Anything else however, is perfectly fine with me.

Lets Party!,

*Takes the piece of paper from Chis, Hands it to his Avatar*

Could you look after this and do something about this kit?

*powerbook disappears along with the WYSE terminal*

*wandering over to the window Bri looks out across the virtually liquid landscape*

(Whats that across the way? It wasnt here when I arrived ... Bimbo's Bar Y Grill?)

*Among the drearyness his ears pick up a familiar sound, a landmate in hover mode*

(Yoshi must be here with my parts)

*Sure enough a young thin dark haired kid steps into the arrival terminal carrying a 1m tube. He walks over to Bri Sets the tube down next to him and procedes to set up shoppe*

Yoshi: That replacement array came in this morning, Deunan though you might want it.

*Briareos takes a knee next to Yoshi, giving him access to the side of his head. Yoshi removes the cap on the side of Bri's headmakes some minor adjustments and attaches what looks to be another cybernetic rabit ear to Bri's head*

Thanks Yoshi

Yoshi: No problem, but try not to get this one shot off AGAIN

Hey is that a Guges B model you came in with?

Yoshi: Yeah Hitomi didn't want me out here in the badlands with out some protection. Its nice but the internal array needs some adjustment and i think I can *continues rambling about improvements*

I think Hitomi might be missing you Yoshi

*Yoshi snaps out of his rambling and exits teh terminal*

(Nice kid, talks to much and is a mecha freak). Now about some food)

*Briareos Wanders outside and across the way to the BByG*

*KarmaEnforcer kicks back in his recliner and idly braids cherry stems together with his tongue. After about 10 minutes he gets bored of that, and proceeds to start flipping through a notebook scribbling notes here and there, while overlooking the small crowd of people. He mutters softly to himself:*

Add two points here, but we'll need to take one off for that. Hrmm.. Nah, better make that three for Van, and one for Chris. Kyhm gets two.

*Karma closes his notebook and nods satisfactorily. He then puts on a pair of headphones and leans back into his chair, smiling gently.*

/Chris walks over to KarmaEnforcer

Umm, just curious, what did you just write in that notebook?

Or is it secret,

Just some basic record keeping, dear boy. You think Karma can keep track of who's doing what good or evil thing currently? Hell no! Karma can't even count or hold a steady job these days. So we members of the KEA (thats the Karma Enforcement Agency for those of you who don't speak acronymese) have to keep the scores ourselves. They're supposed to be getting me my new PDA to make the whole thing that much easier, plus it'll let me transmit the scores on back to HQ nightly instead of having to priority mail the paperwork to them nightly.

*takes a drag on his cigarette*

Anyway, what goes around comes around, and hopefully the new PDAs will let us make sure it comes around alot faster, so we can hopefully prevent so many people from having to reincarnate. Get the scales balanced out at the last second sort of thing. But hell, I couldn't say for sure. I just keep the notes. I leave it to the big wigs to see to it that your car happens to be parked under the tree with the Pigeon-fest 2k going on in it, or that a previously unknown relative kicks the bucket and leaves you a bundle of cash.
*takes a quick peek in his notebook, smirks, and nods*

Want a beer or something? My treat.

*wanders in, whistling the end music from Outlaw Star to himself, and smiling as he sees folks he actually knows.

"What's up all? Thought I'd drop in and check out the place. Nice. Real nice. Ya done good kyhm my man. Mucho impressioso."

Lights up a smoke, sliding his silver lighter back into his jeans afterwards.

"Hey, anyone got a clue whereI can find a good pic of Gene Starwind from Outlaw Star? People are always sayin we look alike for some reason..."

Grrr... not anymore I'm not. Damn person that was gonna drive us all up there backed out at the last minute, and I don't trust my car. Van is not pleased. I guess I'll just have to console myself with this case of Labatt Blue that I acquired yesterday. *gulp**gulp*

Chris feels sorry that Van could not visit the Mother Land.

Geez, I've lived in America all my life yet Canada is "The Mother Land."

It's that cool,
