THis forum seems to me extremely interesting (being a fairly seasoned role-player) The trouble is, I can't seem to figure out how this works so if someone would be so kind as to explain to me the procedure I would be most greatfull. |

Okay, the first thing you have to know about role-playing isn't you can't participate until you're initiated. Especially when you go starting new subjects on several boards. /Grabs a stapler and staples cucumber to the wall, about three feet above the ground. Okay, now the fun can begin. /Sets cucumber's hair on fire CUCUMBER: "OHMYGOD PUTITOUT PUTITOUT!" Oh fine, you fuckin crybaby. /Pisses on cucumber's head to put out the fire. Then takes out a big ass hammer and, after breaking every bone in his body, cracks open his skull, exposing his brains. Hmm, I wonder how much of your brain I'd have to cut out before you become a vegetable. Well, let's see! /Takes out a knife and starts cutting chunks out of cucumber's brain and forcing him to eat them. Cucumber's screaming, which until now has been constant, suddenly stops. Hmm, must've cut out your vocal center. Oh well. Enough of this. /rips cucumber off the wall, causing much of the skin that was stapled there to be ripped off, and lays him on the ground. Okay, you're now deaf, mute, paralyzed, and severely brain-damaged. However, I made sure to leave all your pain processing centers intact. So what I'm about to do should hurt... a lot. /pulls down cucumber's pants. Walks away for a second & comes back with a cage full of rats. The cage has one small opening on the bottom. ok, so the initiation is outta the way, don't take offence, nothing is really meant by it, and we don't need another thread explaining it/arguing about it. for info on how this all works, check out this thread, basically, one creates a character, or plays as oneself, and freeforms. you just type in what your character does, kinda like creative story telling. have fun! |

/A golden light emerges from the cage and a small amulet on cucumbers chest rises above the frenzied rats. With screams, more horrific than you could imagen would come from rats, the rats begin melting and slowly mends themselves with cucumber flesh. /with a moan cucumber open his eyes and sit up as the horrific regeneration process continue. Did I tell you guys that I'm particulary fond of the occult? /The killer cuumber picks up an piece of charcoal from the ground and starts to draw a strange geometrical sign on the ground. My personal interest lies within the mythos actually. /Fills the sign on the floor with alien looking signs. Now since I feel so wlcome here I thought I should return the favour /grins coldly /Whilst people are to amazed/perplexed/horrified to do anything cucumber begins to chant. /A shape warps into existance. Its gigantic body not quite ape nor insect turn towards cucumber who quicly speak a few words with it in an unknown language. Then it turns with claws rasping against the stone floor of the dungeon and head bobbing from side to side, towards the onlookers. You probably already know what a Dimensional Shambler is I won't therefore bore or delay it's slaughtering of you with an explanation /Still with an visiously looking smile on his face. I'll leave you to play with it. /the cucumber slowly departs from the dungeon as the shambler throws itself upon its victims. I feel very welcome indeed. |

Drachen steps in and shakes his head. "Command, code 3, class F. Initialize." A shimmer surrounds the Shambler as command launches the retrieval protocol for cross dimensional beings which are about to rampage through and innocent MB thread. The beast shrieks once before vanishing back into it's home dimension. "What a wanker. That's not how you take an initiation. Even if he had been DNI'd." |

SO... Now it's getting complicated. He is DNI'd, and has already got an initiation, on the other handn, he resisted that (illegitimùate) initiation, but then struck back. (if he had some magical DNI thing protect him from harm he'd probably be safe) Do we have any lawyers around here. Or perhaps just general tightarses? |

I say let it be. Anteothesis posts at 3.2 per day, or less than half what I do. He just wasn't paying attention. however n00bs who have been DNI'd should put it in their sig or something. The only n00b I ever DNI'd was rupert (with a branding iron). |

Ok. Your sig (or Signature) is in your profile. If you go to "Edit Profile" on the upper right hand side, you'll get your profile. Near the bottom there's a space for your signature that will be added to any and all posts you make. Simple enough. As for DNI - "Do Not Initate." Even Simpler. Good enough Killer? |

Yeah, I DNI'd him here, shortly before you initiated. However, no real harm done. It's just an initiation. http://forums.kyhm.com/viewtopic.php?topic=416&forum=4&19 However, because he was DNI'd, I believe he has the right to respond to the initiation as if it was a legitimate roleplaying post. If it had been a true initiation, then it would not have been acceptable. So, play on. |
