the lumbering demons leap at the beleagured vehicle, and are met with nought but the soggy, mist-shrouded ground, and the smell of burning paint.

two steps away, on another plain of existence, a humvee appears 3 feet off the ground in a familiar looking forest, with stinking smoke rising off it and the paintwork bubbling in spots.

instead of obeying the stringent laws of gravity, the hummer floats oftly to the ground, and sinking a little into the muddy tyre tracks the humvee had made just before vanishing.

almost instantly, the hummer disgorges it's passangers, who are answering the universal call to vomit.

groggily, madadric comes around, wiping at the blood all over his chin. "man, i hate that..."

mad stands up, looking around the dark foresty surroundings. "not too bad, pretty much right where we were." he grins, more than a little impressed with his good fortune. the effect is somewhat disturbing, as mad had done a poor job of wiping his chin. the grin gave him the look of a gleeful cannibal.

madadric stretches, and turns to the others, "so, we got any food?"

/opens the pack and throws three to each person, unwraps one of her own and munches on it a lil, not really feeling like eating a thing with cream filling after all that.
