Post subject:  KFSM--Kishtah or Pirates--9/06

Hello, and welcome to KFSM September 2006.

Being as it is that I have won the inaugural session, much to my joy and chagrin, I am given the great privilege of assigning this month's theme.
And that theme is my very own fun and games fantasy cartoon character

Kititah (Kishtah) Aiketakara (A.) Lau, or, any funny-looking brunette male space-elf with a bob hairstyle.

Character Descriptionor, everything you don't need to know.

Physical Makeup:
Black hair, blue eyes, pasty spacefarer's complexion, no freckles. Stands 5' 6" tall and of slight, cornery build. Various scars on torso, arms, and shins, including the word "thief" on the chest-ish, and a small healed tear on the left upper lip. Deaf in one ear, wears his hearing aid only when he's sure no one'll take advantage of it and whistle in it or something. His eyelids are heavy and his nose is a bit broken looking, and he has a noticible underbite. Pretty big ears. Keeps hair in a bob-page-boy style. Big hands.
Fashion sense
Usually wears the raggiest clean clothes ever ( black [now gray] tee shirt and hand-lengthened pants), but loves to dress up. In almost anything.

Emotional Makeup:
Loud and obnoxious and a little too smutty, Kitty, here, is one of the many things you can get if you beat the snot out of and molest children. Attaches easily to everyone ever, and would totally do you if you asked him. Pretty good about keeping secrets, and telling elaborate lies. Has a mean elbow to the face, but usually just freezes up and stops moving if you were to do anything to him without a couple years warning. Has bad aim and catches like a girl. A weak, easily distracted girl. Which is not to say he's uncoordinated, he can throw down on the dance floor.

Miscellaneous
Great singing voice (used to be a pro, no really.), and can shout really loud and carry on. He's an illusionist (magic powers), and tells small illusiony puppet stories often and usually appears to be wearing clothes, that, on further inspection, don't really exist. A super shoplifter and a mediocre pickpocket. Terrible handwriting, terrible cook, can't sew. A pistol in bed (used to be a pro, no really). Mangages multiplication through a series of additions and subtractions. Can totally act high class if he wanted, and very charming to most.
In love with Minta, a teeny lil' princess space elf who looks like Veronica Lake. Small ears. Hates him. Plays the viola. On the make, but by no means desperate.

Often seen with Alan Hubert Greene, a sad, crazy white kid with good sewing skills, singing voice, and language competency. Can't do math either. Graying hair, emo cut. Wear sweaters.

Visual references:
I'll have a nice character sheet for you within mere days.
Until then, enjoy my comic: http://spools.comicgen.com/d/20050530.html
And this list o' characters: http://spools.comicgen.com/character.html
Edit: Best I can do is a crappy costume, and headdrawings, on elfwood becasue I can't find shit on DA or on my computer.

For any other information about this character, other characters, or the stupid details of this version of elves, please ask. OMG spoilers.

Content guidelines: Please feature some sort of action, not just some decorative piece, and be as smutty as you like.

In Summary
The previous description is merely a description, because I like fanart.
Please feature any cute space elf you prefer.
Go ahead and use another peice you already have done if you think it fits.

Entries due the 15th, 11:00 pm.
Remember, submission catagories are:
Original art
Photoshop collage
Short story
Rhyming poem

How does everyone feel about adding "coloring" to the photoshop option and lengthening the 200 word limit on stories to around 500?

Becasue this seems a slow month, and I'd feel terribly if no one entered this month, I am adding the theme of PIRATES! to this month. This is in honor of Talk Like Pirate Day, and ya'll better buck up, because that's also my birthday, and if I don't see any entries relating to my goofball character, Pirates, my goofball character as a pirate or my birthday, I will be very upset and sulk.

Did you not believe me when I said monthly or something?
If this ain't regular it just turns into more work.

It's my brother's birthday too!
I'll enter. After tomorrow, I should have time to do arts. It'll help, because I also need to submit stuff to Darksetyuna's zine and to my school lit mag (lit mag gives me food for submissions).

Avast! Ye bonny contrivances dazzle me lights like the carribean sunset on a clear day. Ye gifts of pictorial plunder is nearly as intoxicating as my new long-reach stapler, and that is indeed and fact.

Ok, sorry this is 4 mins late, but I posted it on the wrong page the first time.....

Hope I'm not too late! And please forgive the spelling, as I was typing REALLLY FAST!

Twank. Twanktwank. Tiiiiing.

“Ah, nothing like a perfectly tune guitar!” Sefra exclaimed. Sefra was a spacer, a loner, a good dancer, and at this point in time, a gal in hot pink tights, a t-shirt, black leather vest and a tiara. This was not her usual attire, but this was not a usual day. This was Kishtah's birthday party, and with an empty six pack of Redbull lolling around on the floor and two bags of cotton candy playing like tumbleweeds across the confetti-strewn floor, it was bound to be a good one.
“And that,” said Alan, who was sporting a cow print apron as he stirred the birthday soup, “was nothing like a perfectly tuned guitar.”
Kishtah, the man of the hour, was lounging in a wing backed chair that should have been a Value Village reject, but was not a do-it-yourself masterpiece, reupholstered in magazine clippings of Alton Brown under a tight layer of plastic wrap.
“Shut up Trixi, there is nothing wrong with my guitar!” she stated, and laughed like it was someone else’s joke. “So Kish, as I was saying, here is a little something from me to you.”

She took a breath.

The Universe held its breath.

She began to sing.

The Universe began to scream.

“Oh there once was a laddie named Kishtaaaaaah
Who traveled from mooooon to staaaar
But frankly when it caaame to groooowing
He never did get very faaaaaaaaaaar!

Oooooooh too-ra-la roo-la-la, cha cha cha cha!”

Glances were exchanged, and not in the sort of way that Christmas sweaters are.

“Then he met fair laddie Allaaaaaan!
Who is supposed to saaaaave us alllll!
But we sure would feel much better
If on his face after several dozen twinie-and-tonics he did not faaaall!

Oh! Tooo---SING ALONG!--- too-ra-la roo-la-la, cha cha cha cha!

Up next a spacer called Sefraaaa
A fine lady as ya ever did seeeeeee
And though not always a-prish-eee-ated
She certainly…I gotta pee.”

The song bird departed for the loo.

“So…that’s my birthday song, eh? No happy happy birthday? No clapping?”

“Do you want clapping?” Asked Alan.

“Well…never hurts.”

After birthday soup, the standing on a chair on one leg while blind folded game, and pin the tale on the tenant next door, it was time for the birthday cake.

“Ok,” said Sefra, who was now fairly sober as she had relieved herself of at least two Redbulls. “I went to a lot of work for this, so you better like it.” The glow from the cake entered the room long before she did. “See? 206 candles!”

Silence.

“Why?” Asked Alan, the destined for wrath.

“Why? Because he’s 206 years young!”

Alan burst out laughing, followed shortly by Kish. “You believed him?”

“What do you mean be—“

“He’s been trying to play the whole elf thing into being ancient for years! Haha!”

Sefra pouted. It was not sexy. It was not cute. It was dangerous.

“I bought 206 freaking candles for nothing?”

Moments later, the first annual Flaming Food Fight was born.

The contest is now closed to enteries and open for ballots.
Please pm your ballot: vote for one person for creativity and one person for technicality.
You may vote for the same person for both catagories and you may vote for yourself if you entered something.
Because I won last month, you may not vote for my piece, no matter how awesome I think it is.

Now, who'll it be?

Odd Robin and her saucy swashbuckled fop?

Cakewalk and his grunge-rock pin-up?

Neko and her ...very saucy pin-down?

Sefra and her whirlwind scenario?

CHOOSE NOW.
PM SPOOLS.
GOOD JOB EVERYBODY THIS IS A GREAT BIRTHDAY.

Voting is closed on the 30th.
New topic will be announced shortly therafter.

VOTING IS CLOSED!
All those who didn't vote may now walk the plank--into fun!
Results:
Creative
Sefra 3
Robin97531 3
Neko! 2
Cakewalk 2

Technical
Cakewalk 6
Robin97531 1
Sefra 2
Neko! 1

Creative won the first coin tossed by my little brother, called on IRC by Wolfie as heads.
Then there was a tie between Robin and Sefra becasue I had to through out a ballot that didn't tell me which catagory the votes were in. Robin won that coin tossed by my little brother, called on irc by Wolfie as heads. Well, he called Sefra tails, but it was heads, so he didn't call it, but that's how it works.
Oh god I don't know how a coin toss works why did I put myself in charge.
Anyway, Sefra will forgive me, and Robin will announce the new theme.
I know Cakewalk's disappointed, it's a stupid way to not win, but he'll come around and get good luck next month, I'm sure.
Or he could make love to my little brother and win every month.
