Being a huge Aliens and Predator fan, I'm gonna start seriously hoping that this movie doesn't suck... or I may have to hunt this director down and take his skull as a trophy.

There are so many ways that this will rock. At least as many ways that it will suck. Let's hope, people...

Knowing how the guys up top go to every obscene length to mess up movies and games before they ever come out the the whole thing will end up being acted out by freaky Puchoos and somehow involve Stitch.

God help us because by the time the movie goes to video there will already be Alien & Preadator porn.

The Pedator v. Alien movie has been a long time coming. It has been in the works since the Alien skull showed up on the trophy wall in the ship in Predator 2.
Must have been some doing to get rights to both critters into one production unit, a lawyers dream:years of litigation, contract negotiations and all that crap.

Here's to hoping the movie is not a lawyer manipulated screenplay of shit.

Actually this is incorrect. The director of the Predator 2 movie has stated that the skull was merely a homage to the original Aliens movie and not a portent of things to come.

Oh I so hope that the Predators have some real personality instead of being just a few very smart and well armed monsters.

Actually, this was a correct statement.
The director of Predator 2 had nothing to do with the attempts to create an Alien Vs Predator movie after the Preadtor 2 movie was released. There were several attempts to create such a movie by several independent directors/sreenwriters, and several offers were put before the studios, but nothing became of them. This is what I was referring to.
There were small 1 paragraph stories about it in the news on and off for about 2 years. It was like a trying to sell a car that had yet to be designed yet from what I could see.

In the end, I am betting on the movie being pretty good (I hope).

Okay, yeah I realize that people have been trying to get an AvP movie going for a long time, I just was pointing out that that skull didn't directly relate to it.

However the movie turns out it had better have some bitchin' fights.

Its set in modern days(give or take a decade) in Antartica in a pyramid under the surface. Five Predators vs Aliens aplenty with some Scientists from the Company and some Marines backing them up.
