Probably has some problems, but everyone knows the procedure by now. Right now, Andy has snapped and is a berserker. His power is much stronger compared to his normal levels and he's running on a lot of built up anger. He can not be reasoned with right now and will slaughter any normal humans in his path. A para's intervention is required to stop him and I think I've already got it worked out, just need the details. If you want to encounter him before he's taken care of, PM me.

Godspell is in threee days. I have little free time. I'll get this post up. I'll try as hard as I can, but one day post/replys are not going to happen for a week.

Nice post Chaos, I'd just like to tweak the Zara/Chaos conversation a bit, particularly the beginning and end. (I don't have a problem with the middle part, but considering I wrote it I shouldn't...) Zara doesn't "enjoy" himself through violence; he's not a sadist in the traditional sense of the word. The word "enjoy" applies to how Zara feels when he commits horrible crimes only insofar as the same word applies to, say, the feeling Buddha had upon acieving nirvana, or Beethoven while composing his Ninth Symphony. Also, I think Zara would respond to Chaos' final comment differently.

I also realise that there will have to be minor edits on other's parts to account for the live band. Sorry about that.

Would anyone object to my joining this RP? I like what I've read, this is definately cool and interesting(both the OOC thread and the RP itself) and have a character idea who would probably be preaty cool. My basic idea is a telepath whose powers kicked in all at once, rather than gradually, and was driven mad be all the voices. She'd be something of a recluse, and one of the 'rogue' paras, not one who had been caught and brought to the sanitarium(in fact, confinment among that many crazy people, most of whom were in pain, would have likely destroyed her completely)

I don't think anyone would object to newcomers. Create a complete character bio and wait for feedback. If it looks fine, you can try to fit your character in somewhere down the line.

It would probably be best for people who want to join to wait a bit. Trust me, there will be a very big opportunity for the introduction of new characters later on... perhaps within the month, depending on how quickly the plot moves.

Okay! since I can't join up right away I'll take some time on my background and such. Expect a very paranoid, fractured individual, someone who isn't quite sure where she ends and those around her begin, and thus seeks solitude whenever possible. She's paranoid because she can hear all the angry thoughts of those around her all the time.

Anyway, details/name/ect coming.

I need some timing issues clarified.

So far I can understand everything perfectly up to Somewhere Around Nothing:
- Zara does his grand speech, Guy's butterfly makes the pretty colours, and Max is there with his new scythe.
- Andy works on making the alloy for the rest of the weapons.
- Morrie and Harry were somewhere near the House of Knives, withing Harry eventually calming Morrie.

But then with Chaos's post of the starting battle, it's said that Somewhere Around Nothing just started playing. Doesn't make much sense, but then that's why I'm posting.

Then Drive kicks in:
- Andy snaps and takes care of security at House of Knives.

Also during all of this, Claire is still playing along with the band at the entrance near Zara and most of the other paras. For timing, I think that Andy's confrontation with Nightmare would probably take place around Cohhka or Conclusion. However, I still don't know where the other events would fit in. I need to make sure about the timing because Andy is headed towards the music and band which I assume is still nearby Zara and Chaos. I want to know if their fight will be resolved by the time he gets there or if he'll end up interrupting them. If you're planning something lengthy and don't want him interfering, I think I can get Guy to delay him for a song or two before he finally arrives. Though if I'm wrong about the band's location in relation to Zara and Chaos, no worries then. It'd also be helpful to know when the military will eventually show up to coordinate the ending to Andy's little rampage.

ok.. Zara's speech Takes place in the time it takes for CHaos to walk over to Zara, Zara's speech only took less then a min.

We plan to conlude the fight at the end of the CD.

Morrie's fight happens while Andy's fight occurs. Just FYI. So Drive kicks in when the both of them go bonkers.

Eyes: very pale blue(almost no color)
Powers: telepathy.

Background: Sora was born in(name of town/state forthcoming once I figure out where the hell you guys are. I need to be somewhere close, I think). She was two weeks premature, and apeared to be an albino. While she did develop some pigmentation in her skin, she is still very pale. Even when young, she seemed to have a penetrating gaze, as though she could learn all your secrets just by looking at you. She was a very perceptive child.

Two days after her 12th birthday, she had what appeared to be a siezure durring a school assembly. She was comatose for three days, and has never been the same since. Once a very social child, she is now a recluse, avoiding human contact as much as she can. Her parents, both loving Christians, started home-schooling her, because she seemed quite terrified of going back to her public school. She is very easily distracted, and almost never makes eye contact with others. Shortly after she regained consiousness from her coma, she began exhibiting symptoms of multiple personality disorder.

About a month after her siezure, government agents arived at her family's home and offered to take her with them, to a place where she would be cared for by people who were specialists in the sort of problems she was developing. Her parents refused, stating that love would do more for her than knowledgable strangers. The agents left.

About a year after her incident, she became less uncomfortable about spending time among groups of people, more capable of dealing with groups. Though still shy, she began having more of a social life. She still exhibits signs of multiple personality disorder, but work with a local psychologist has revealed that the various personalities(he could only positivly identify three) are aware of each other and are capable of working together. He could find no explanation for this, nor any alternate diagnosis: she does not suffer from true MPD, but the condition is too similar to classify otherwise. He encouraged her to 'sort out' the extra personalities, to seperate them more. As a result of this, in recent months she has developed a new symptom: each personality has a distinct voice. Not distinct meerly in pace or style of speach, but an actual, distinct voice, sounding quite different.


Her telepathy is the cause of her borderline MPD. That siezure was her powers kicking in, full blast, all at once. She has since developed shields of a sort, but they're not that strong or defined. If she is looking specifically at a person she can hear surface thoughts distinctly, if she locks gazes she quickly knows everything about them. Even if she's not looking at someone, she hears the thoughts of everyone around her as a sort of mental buzzing noise. Because of this she has a great deal of difficulty focusing, and when in a group gets very random. She sort of has a temporary form of ADD. Even withought eye contact, she can establish a link with a person she knows by concentrating, and can maintain a link up to a distance of approx. 3 miles. She must be within a few hundred feet to establish the link in the first place, however.

The extra personalities are amalgams of people she has mindscanned at some point. Some of them are violent, but most of them are more-or-less normal. She decides just about everything by commitee, looking at all aspects of a problem before deciding on a course of action. When she thinks out loud she does so with constantly shifting voices, each sentance with its own voice. Not all are female voices.

I'll clean this up and clarify things once I've had some time to figure things out. I can't figure out a better way to say all this now.

Nice, Bolter. As for your location, it may actually work better, considering the plans I have, if you have her be from another country. I won't spoil too much, but let's say that it would be best if people planning on entering into the RP during the next huge opening for character introduction be as widely scattered across the globe as possible.

By the way, current players are more than welcome to create secondary characters and/or NPCs for use when said opening occurs. In fact, I encourage it, and will probably be creating a few myself.

hell, I have an entire slew of npc's that my character generates alone, I actually request that a few of the recon. shadows get killed (or at least disrupted, as there is a chance [read: up to you] that the one you take out isn't real enough to touch/hit/explode).

Oh, and Chaos's referance to me is exactly the sort of way that I would like my creations to be referanced. Remember, I haven't introduced myself under the 3rd person limited perspective (run it by me if you want to use me in a 3rd person omniciant sense), so my name shouldn't really be used. It's probably not my character, anyway.
