More like he is crying because he is being co-opted into a silly emoticon like the Eagle before him. :911:

Dude, the Eagle has plenty of reasons to cry. To start with, they clipped his wings. Now they're bringing the cage (PA I, PA II, DHS, Habea Corpus, etc), once the leg irons are in place, it's the slave pens for him. All in the interests of protecting him from terrorism, donchaknow.

Yeah... :billnye: is far more confusing tho.

But in any case, anyone else notice how it seems like Ian is wasting away? Getting bone-thin and ghastly looking?

Perhaps the godlike powers taking a toll.

Well it would be either that or have an emoticon with Thomas Dolby for SCIENCE!

That's Bill Nye, The Science Guy, the man who taught me that David Hasselhoff is not, in fact, magnetic.

I swear to god that I was the first person to say this. Which would make ME the "random idiot in a chatroom!"

It was said, I believe, by someone from the FPL.

I'm fairly sure I even know which.

Totally not something to boast about.

I was thinking that too, while I was wondering what FPL was.

I've seen and heard a particular mistake about the the line "nothing beside remains" a few times, not all of them on here.

It's not "nothing besides remains", which would mean "all that's left is the remains", -- 'remains' as a noun.

It's "nothing beside remains", as in "the space or land around it is completely empty", -- 'remains' as a verb.

Fantasy Powers League, IIRC.

The first would kind of change the meaning of the line rather entirely, wouldn't it?
