That can float like that. That has to be Ian and he definitely has enough fire-power to take out Tsuirakushiti. But then, how he feels about elves, this could be an elf-roast, featuring Rarune, as the highlight of the evening. (could I get any more puns in there?)

My interest is definitely piqued! Although, I would have enjoyed a bit more explicative content after a one week layoff. :-P

The poem proceeds apace. It's almost finished.

Ok, everyone, kiss Tsuiraku goodbye, 'cos there's no way this is going to end peacefully.

Yes, but why the hell is he going Rand al'Thor on Emyrlon of all places?

Hm, good point, I just assumed this was Tsuiraku, but it really could be Emerylon. I guess we'll have to wait a chapter to see if it was Bani, who was surprised by Sara.

The architecture is pretty distinctive; bascilicas flanked by crystals on poles, above ground.

Yup, it's the temple of Luminosita, and Ian is going The Book of Exodus on it. Well, in happier speculations, maybe he's taking over Luminosita's operation, rather than merely blasting his worshipers with a rain of lightning.

Or calling him out.

Not all chapter titles are verses from Ozymandias and I don't think those that are, are in strict order.

Damn, Ian. Damn you. I foresee Meji having to kill Ian in the end. He's going to start senseless slaughter for his own ends, and Meji will have to take him down.

Well, of course not all chapter titles are from it! If they were, it wouldn't be worthy of note that this one is. I'm fairly certain they are all in the order that the phrases appear in the poem, however. Only a short phrase remains:

"...boundless and bare/ The lone and level sands stretch far away."

But one thing we've never figured out; Which is Ozymandias?
Is it the Elves, Veracian Church, Tsuiraku? There are soo many choice choices! :-o

Warriors; come out and plaaay!

What movie was that from?

Yeah, I missed the scene change too. Emyrlon it is. That pompous ass of a Veracian Church head is going to get his face mashed into the mud, yet again! :-3 It couldn't happen to a nicer guy. :-3

Looks like Hell on Earth is going to break out in the Great Temple, with death and devastation all around.

Either that, or Ian is returning a library book. He's the kind of guy who would remember that, even after becoming a god.

Caveat: we are assuming that is Ian in Ian's form only because it works better for dramatic continuity and the figure has its feet apart whilst hovering in the air. Otherwise, it could just as well be Anilis, looking for her boyfriend.

Definitely Ian's form. What is occupying that form has been open to debate for some time now.

I'm flashing back to Akira. The manga, not the anime.

Anyway, it would take remakably little for Ian to put himself up as Jesus Christ. Confront the Vatican, make them use their puppet-god to try to take out Mr. Heretic, blow it to hell in front of the whole world. The faithful will think that he is a truer manifestation of their lord, or somesuch bullshit, and the pagmatists are going to kneel due to a combination of wanting to live and thinking they could profit from having a new and real god on their side.

The question is if Ian will just want to orbitally bombard them all until nothing is left rather than taking power. As long as he stays sane, he will want to do the right thing. But, when you are a god, anything is the wrong thing. And so is nothing. Leto II, bitch.

Sucks.

Maybe I just need sleep more than I realize, but why is Ian going after the Church of Pokegod?

Do the chapters with titles from the poem have something in common? (Has anyone asked that before?)

Actually, that might be a good point. Maybe Ian, obsessed with the fact that he couldn't bring his sister back, decided he needed more power.

Biggest collection of magical energy to consume on the planet? Pokégod.

Even larger collection of magical energy, even if distributed: Tsuirakushiti.

Alternatively: Senilis is a jealous bitch.

Ian is about to make the Elven Ambassador's case for him?
