Its been a week since anyone posted anything on here, the longest we've ever gone without anything being said since I joined all those years ago. I just wanted to say, to anyone that sees this, that this place and you guys have all been great.
I'm going to keep checking in every now and then, see if anyones stopped by, but even if no-one does I'm happy that I was here from nearly the start all the way up till now.
I'll remember this place, I'll remember sleeping on peoples couches, getting shown around cities I would have been lost in otherwise, posting near naked photos of myself censored only by a Azumanga Dioah poster, writing bizarre poems at all hours of the night and day, posting so many many links about weird shit, trying to out-freak each other with some truly foul links(menstrual blood artwork still chills my blood, 2girls1cup is masturbation fodder now), masturbating to everything and anything you guys threw my way, sharing christmas cards and in general seeing all you guys as things went here there and everywhere.
But we're all grown up now, the party has wound down and I'm glad that I was here to see the lights go out.

To everyone that remembers the Road Trip, that remembers the great Mibbers led split, that went to Ohayocon in Ohio(I guess it was there, I was never really sure) and saw Red vs Blue in Melbourne, thanks. It was fun.
To the few of you that came over to Brisbane I hope you enjoyed yourselves, I hope we showed you a good time and I hope that TMTs friend is never allowed to forget spending $500 on a stripper when he could have got a prostitute for $115, if anyone is ever in town I'll be glad to show you around, give you the tour, let you see the most exciting city in the world from the perspective of a jaded local with a thirst for trivia.

This place was one of the places I could relax and still be somehow popular instead of slightly irritating, its been a refuge in bad times, a link to the rest of the world when I was in the middle of no-where and wondering what was going on. I visited Kyhms in the wilds of Peruvian jungles, while drunk in Munich, in a hostel in Paris while eating a croissant, in the best Internet cafe on Earth in Tel-Aviv, at the public library in Chicago, from some of your houses, from places I don't even remember being at and one memorable time after a sly masturbation session at my uncles house in Ireland while they were all off at the shops

So to everyone, we've been predicting the death of this place for about two years now, I guess thats given us time to adapt and wander off to infect 4Chan. I'm still sad that we never finished Road Trip. I like to imagine the last entry of that book, with everyone spread into the winds and atop a throne commanding the helm of all gods Comrade Rand Al'Toor, chewing on something rubbery for the people.

So cheers.

Andrew.

PS: Pyschojes, sorry that that shithole of a restaurant ripped you guys off so much. I've basically burned their reputation with any and every person I've met in the last two months and will continue until they are closed down.
PPS: If anyone wants to get in contact with me my facebook is http://www.facebook.com/actor.au yes, I kept the actor_au after all these years.

*Will still visit this place on a weekly basis after the seas evaporate, the sun goes cold and the universe dies of being spread too thin*

Oh, and Actor, I will come to visit you when I finish my degree(s). I also plan to live in Australia until WW3's over.

Never an active poster this was still my first taste of what a good forum could be like and for that I am grateful. For being the awesome people all of you were, and I hope still are, I thank all of you.

I hope that this place will keep rolling for another eight years but I'm not quite deluded enough to think that it will so if this really is it I just want to say; so long, and thanks for all the fish.

Hay guyz, I got lost in a shopping mall for a week. While there I solved two murder cases, found true love, made millions on real estate, went through a messy divorce, and discovered that toys don't magically come to life after the shops close.
Did I miss anything?

But it's true, so horribly, horribly true. It's part of the reason why I ended up getting a divorce.

Yes, I started secretly seeing the mannequin on the far left of the photo. She was helping me get over the realisation that toys just don't come to life; but in truth she was merely after my money. When my true love (whom I had married two nights earlier) found out, things became really bad really fast.

This forum will exist as long as it's old geezers long-time members get extremely bored and decide to see what this place is up to.

Not that that ever happens or anything...

Fixed it for you. Long time no somethingorother. You should stay. There's only about five of us that check in on a daily basis.

First time posting in a year and it's grammatically incorrect. Go figure.

Looking at the posting rate, shouldn't be too difficult to find time to check this once a day or so, even in the unlikely event that I remain employed for much longer.

This forum contributed significantly to my development from freshman year of high school on. Development into what, I'm not sure.

But it was still pretty significant, anyhow. Introduced me to the dark seedy underbelly of the Internet, met some pretty cool people (I still miss Superkuh, Yevaud, and Wandering Idiot), learned a few things about trust, how to have a thick skin in heated discussions (thanks Mibbers, Grey), made some pretty good friends (Trent, I'm looking at you), and even managed to score an entertaining Thanksgiving weekend when I was away from home and near a Kyhmer (thanks Miao).

Pretty damn cool for an Internet forum, I think.

My one regret is that I didn't find out about this place sooner. Not having internet at home for a long ass time didn't help either. I'm sure Bandman and I will keep looking in from time to time.
